Following the introduction of our 170 tonne, 3 metre press brake in 2015, which both increased the efficiency of, and expanded our press braking capabilities- we are once again investing in cutting edge machinery. This time, we are installing an 8Kw ByStar Fiber 3015 Dynamic Edition. This new machine will serve to increase our cutting capabilities across the material spectrum, in both ferrous and non ferrous. The ByStar is capable of cutting material thicknesses that are nothing short of astounding, and were previously solely in the water-jet cutting domain. Please see below;

• Mild Steel 25mm
• Stainless Steel 30mm
• Aluminium 30mm
• Copper 15mm
• Brass 12mm

Further to the increased thicknesses, the ByStar will also allow us to cut a broader range of thicknesses using nitrogen as a cutting assist gas. This gives a clean cut edge, with no oxidised scale to clean away, meaning mild steel components- even thick ones- come off the laser machine ready for coating processes, instead of lengthy, and costly, cleaning operations. \
